Cell on Wheel
The Telecom Equipped Trailer has been designed and manufactured by Paya Communication Industries with the goal of achieving the ability to quickly transport a Telecommunications facility base from one place to another in critical or catastrophic situations.
This Mobile Communication Site is manufactured in form of a towable trailer consisting of four main parts; Balancing System, Chassis & Suspension System, Cabin set and Tower.
Balancing System
The balancing system consists of eight arms. Six arms are equipped with hydraulic jacks and the remaining two use manual jacks.
Chassis & Suspension System
The chassis and suspension system of the telecom equipped trailer have been designed and manufactured in accordance with EURO4 standards.
- Chassis: Chassis and other metal parts are manufactured from special steel with CO2 welding
- Axes: Two 10-Tons Disc-Type Axes
- Pins: 2-Inch Pin & Flange System
- Stop Stand: 24-Tons Two-Speed Stop Stands
- Painting: The Chassis is completely sandblasted first, then coated with a layer of Epoxy substrate and finally covered with a Polyurethane color coat.

Brakes: WABCO Pneumatic ABS & EBS Brake System with 2 modulators, 2/4 sensors
Suspension: Complete Suspension System Consisting of Suspension Modules, Air Filter, Equalizer Valves, Platform Valves & Automatic Lifting Valves
Electric Parts: Two Complete 12V & 24V Electric Circuits with LVD lamps & Brake-Pad Alarm System
Wheels: 4+1 Rigid Metal Wheels
Tires: 4+1 385/65 R22.5 Tubeless Tires

Cabin Set
The Cabin Set consists of three separate rooms; Equipment Room, Generator Room and Maintenance Crew Room.
Equipment Room:
This room has been designed to accommodate a wide range of equipment that include BTS & transmission racks, DC power racks and distribution panels, battery compartment racks and other types of equipment and accessories.
The equipment room is fully resistant against ingress of rain, effectively tolerate working in a temperature ranging from -20C to +60 C and a maximum relative humidity of 95%

Generator Room:
This room accommodates a 20KVA Three-Phase Diesel Generator equipped with a Change-over panel by means of which, it will start automatically in case of AC Mains power failure.
The Generator fuel tank in this room is automatically filled from the main 1000 Liter Diesel tank.

Maintenance Crew Room:
This room has been designed to provide the maintenance crew with emergency accommodations needed for resting. It also provides monitoring features including CCTV and Trailer Control alarms and monitors.

The Tower
The Mobile Communication site is equipped with a self-standing telescopic tower, designed to maintain stability against the wind. The tower has a three part slide-in structure made of tempered steel parts that mounts on a hinge mechanism at the bottom and accommodates the antennas at the top. While in transportation, the tower lies horizontally on the roof of the trailer, and when the trailer is stabilized at the proper location, the tower may be erected to a full vertical height of 24 meters. The tower is equipped with a Teflon-coated steel-core winch, keeping cables and feeders from any damage while travelling on the winch pulley.
This mechanism provides full automatic retraction of cables and feeders when the tower is erected or retracted.
Cabin side walls are made of corrugated 1.5 mm galvanized sheets, with MDF cover on the inner side.
In order to achieve maximum thermal isolation, a 50 mm layer of Polyurethane has been injected between the side wall sheets with 45Kg/m³ density.
A very low thermal transfer coefficient has led to a wide usage of polyurethane as an efficient thermal isolator.
Thanks to its building elements, polyurethane remains highly resistant against defects caused by sunlight, heat, electricity, fire, acids and other solvents..
